What is CAIPS?
CAIPS stands for Computer Assisted Immigration System. It
is part of the Electronic Data Processing (EDP) system used
by the Canadian Immigration offices to process visa applications
outside Canada. CAIPS file is a part of Visa file.
How long does it to get my CAIPS file?
Generally, it takes 8~12 Business Weeks to Complete Whole
Process.
Is it necessay to get my CAIPS file?
It depends on you. Generally, we recommend you to get your
CAIPS file in you meet one of the following scenarios:
- You have been invited for an interview
- Your application takes longer than usual or you have not
heard anything from the visa office for a long time
- You have questions regarding your application
When Caips Notes is Not Useful?
At most stages of processing, there will be some information
in the CAIPS file that is of use to the applicant. However,
if you have just applied we advice you to don't waste your
Money , it is possible that your CAIPS file is largely
blank and will remain so until initial processing (also known
as paper screening) takes place.
What is the difference between CAIPS and CIC's e-client
service?
CAIPS contains much more information than the information
e-client does. In most cases, CIC's e-client only contains
no more than three lins information while a generally CAIPS
file has 7 pages.
I am to take the interview. Can CAIPS file help me?
Yes. Most interviews have a specific topic or concern. For
example, sometimes the interviewers want to know your financial
capacity, sometimes they are interested in your language proficiency,
etc. All of these concerns will be recorded clearly in the
CAIPS file through officers' comments on your file. Hence,
you get an opportunity to know in advance what will be asked
during your interview.
I want to know my application status. Can CAIPS file help
me?
Yes. If you want to monitor the status of your Canadian Immigration,
then CAIPS is the ideal choice for your. It will tell you
the staus of your application, background check, interview
decision, what document does CIC ask you to submit, has CIC
received documents you submitted, etc. You cannot get those
information from any other channel.
Especially, if you application takes unusual long time
and you want to know what happend in your application, you
can get to know your applicaiton status by obtaining your
CAIPS file.
I submitted my application in India/USA/Shrilanka.... Are
you able to get my CAIPS file?
Yes. We obtain your CAIPS directly from CIC headquater in
Ottawa. It doesn't matter where you submitted your Canadian
Immigration application.
Is it legal?
Absolutely! Everything we take is strictly follows Canadian
laws & regulations. We will get your caips note under
" Access to Information
Act"
I have asked my immigration consulant/lawyer. Why he/she
does not know CAIPS?
It's normal. Many immigration consulants or immigration lawyers
are not aware of it.
Will the request of my CAIPS file delay my Canadian Immigration
application anyway?
No. You always benefit from getting your CAIPS file; never
suffer from it.
We get your CAIPS file directly from CIC headquater in Ottawa
and your application is processed in approxiate Consulate
or Embassy around the world. There is no conflict between
them, either time schedule or something else.
